The Difference Between Yoga Clothing Fabric And Swimwear Fabric
The difference between yoga clothing fabrics and swimsuit fabrics is that the materials of swimsuits generally tend to be hydrophobic, that is, they do not retain water (like the umbrella that cannot retain water), and the surface is smooth. And yoga clothes need to be breathable and comfortable to wear. Although both kinds of clothes can reflect your graceful curves, they have different functions and cannot be mixed.
What are the common materials of yoga clothes?
Generally, yoga clothes are made of pure cotton, cotton linen, nylon, and polyester fabrics.
Pure cotton, cheap, easy to pilling and deformation.
Cotton and linen, low cost performance, wear and iron once, it is too easy to wrinkle.
Polyester, like a swimsuit, is light, doesn't fit, and is cool.
Nylon fabrics are generally 87% nylon and 13% spandex. This kind of fabric is good, absorbs sweat, wicks away sweat, shapes, does not pill, and does not deform.
The most common swimsuit fabrics are divided into the following three types:
1. DuPont Lycra
It is a man-made elastic fiber with the best elasticity. It can be extended to 4~6 times of the original length. It has excellent stretchability and is suitable for blending with various fibers. DuPont Lycra with anti-chlorine ingredients,
Swimsuits will have a longer service life than ordinary swimsuits, and are mostly suitable for one-piece swimsuits.
2. Nylon fabric
Nylon fabric swimsuits belong to the medium price range. Of course, compared with DuPont Lycra swimsuits, they are not solid enough, but their elasticity and softness are comparable. They are the most commonly used swimsuit fabrics. It is currently the most commonly used fabric for swimwear and is suitable for mid-priced products.
3. Polyester fabric
Polyester fabric is a one-way, two-way stretch elastic fabric. Because its swimsuit has small elasticity, is limited, and is a low-priced product, it is generally designed as a split swimsuit, which is not suitable for one-piece swimsuits.
